AML & KYC Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective June 23, 2026

This Anti-Money-Laundering (“AML”) and Know-Your-Customer (“KYC”) Policy describes how MacYou verifies customers, screens payments, and detects and prevents financial crime. It supplements and is incorporated into our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Purpose & Scope

MacYou is operated by Macyou LLC (a limited liability company registered in Georgia, entity ID 445839503). Because MacYou offers self-service infrastructure that can be paid for in cryptocurrency and is available to a broad, international customer base, we maintain a risk-based AML/KYC program to prevent our platform from being used for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, or other financial crime.

This policy applies to all customers and to all payments made to MacYou, including cryptocurrency payments and any card or other payment methods we may offer in the future.

2. Customer Identification (KYC)

We apply a risk-based, tieredapproach to customer verification. The level of verification required depends on the customer's spend, risk signals, and the nature of their use:

  • Tier 1 — Standard. A verified email address, a valid payment, and acceptance of our Terms are required to open an account and deploy. Basic device and network signals are checked for fraud and abuse.
  • Tier 2 — Enhanced. For higher cumulative spend, higher-risk indicators, or on request, MacYou may require government-issued identity verification of the individual and, for businesses, company registration details and the identity of the beneficial owners and authorized signatory.
  • Tier 3 — Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD). For customers presenting elevated risk (for example, exposure to high-risk jurisdictions, complex ownership, or politically exposed persons), we may require source-of-funds information and additional documentation before continuing service.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it when it changes. MacYou may suspend or refuse service where required information is not provided or cannot be verified.

3. Sanctions & PEP Screening

MacYou screens customers, and may screen related individuals and entities, against applicable sanctions and restricted-party lists, including the U.S. OFAC SDN list, the EU Consolidated List, the UK HM Treasury (OFSI) Consolidated List, and United Nations lists, as well as the EU and UK sectoral-sanctions packages adopted against Russia and Belarus. We do not provide services to persons or entities that are sanctioned, located in comprehensively sanctioned territories, or owned or controlled by such persons. See also the Sanctions & Export Control section of our Terms of Service.

Where screening is relevant, we may also check for politically exposed persons (PEPs) and apply enhanced due diligence accordingly.

4. Cryptocurrency Transaction Monitoring

For cryptocurrency payments (currently USDT on the TRON / TRC-20 network), MacYou applies blockchain analytics and risk screening to payment transactions and wallet addresses. We may, at our discretion:

  • delay or hold provisioning while a payment or wallet is reviewed;
  • refuse or refund a payment where a transaction or wallet is associated with sanctioned parties, darknet markets, mixers/tumblers used to obscure origin, fraud, theft, or other illicit activity;
  • request information about the source of funds before continuing service; and
  • suspend or terminate an account connected to a flagged transaction.

You represent and warrant that any funds you use are lawfully obtained and are not, directly or indirectly, the proceeds of crime.

5. Prohibited & High-Risk Use

Use of MacYou for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, or to operate an unlicensed money services business or virtual-asset service provider is strictly prohibited. Certain high-risk industries require prior written approval from our compliance team, as set out in the Restricted Industries section of our Acceptable Use Policy. Approval requests may be sent to [email protected].

6. Recordkeeping

MacYou retains customer identification records, verification results, payment and transaction records, and screening logs for the period required by applicable law (and, for financial and tax records, no less than the statutory retention period under the laws of Georgia). These records are protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Cooperation with Authorities

MacYou cooperates with competent regulators and law-enforcement agencies and will respond to lawful requests for information. Where required by law, we may file reports (including suspicious-activity reports) and may be prohibited from notifying the customer that such a report has been made.

8. Enforcement

Where we identify a violation of this policy, a sanctions match, or a material money-laundering or fraud risk, MacYou may suspend or terminate the account immediately and without prior notice, withhold or reverse provisioning, and refuse or refund payments. No refund is owed for service forfeited as a result of an AML/KYC or sanctions violation, and any outstanding balances remain due.

9. Changes & Contact

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, risk profile, or legal and regulatory requirements. The most current version will always be available at macyou.co/legal/aml-kyc.

Questions about this policy, or requests relating to compliance and high-risk industry approval, can be sent to [email protected].
