MacRent Pricing 2026: $159/mo
Full disclosure: this review is written by Macyou, a competing Mac cloud provider. We rent dedicated Apple Silicon Macs for AI workloads. Every price below comes from MacRent's public pricing page (verified 2026-10-05), and we link to it so you can check us.
The short version
MacRent, short term M4 Mac mini rental by the day, week or month, is a good fit for developers who need a Mac for a day or a week. Entry pricing is about $159/mo for a M4 · 16 GB · 256 GB machine. The two things most people miss before signing up: one configuration only: M4, 16 GB, 256 GB and monthly plan marked sold out on 5 October 2026. If your workload is AI inference rather than iOS builds, the lack of pre-installed inference stacks is the biggest practical gap.

MacRent in context
MacRent focuses on short rentals: $15 for a day, $89 for a week or $159 for a month for an M4 Mac mini with 16 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD, with a static IP, full admin access, remote desktop and SSH. It suits a sprint of iOS work or a CI burst. There is only one machine type, so anything that needs more than 16 GB of memory, including 32B and larger language models, does not fit; the monthly plan was marked sold out on 5 October 2026.
Who should choose MacRent
Choose MacRent if you are developers who need a Mac for a day or a week and the strengths above match your workload. Look elsewhere if the fine print, one configuration only: M4, 16 GB, 256 GB, monthly plan marked sold out on 5 October 2026, changes the economics for you, or if you need AI inference running today rather than after a week of setup.
