MacWeb Pricing 2026: $99 to $249/mo
Full disclosure: this review is written by Macyou, a competing Mac cloud provider. We rent dedicated Apple Silicon Macs for AI workloads. Every price below comes from MacWeb's public pricing page (verified 2026-10-05), and we link to it so you can check us.
The short version
MacWeb, bare metal Mac minis and Mac Studios in Silicon Valley, is a good fit for US developers who want a bare metal Mac with root access for builds. Entry pricing is about $99/mo for a M4 · 16 GB · 256 GB machine. The two things most people miss before signing up: most of the catalogue was out of stock or coming soon on 5 October 2026 and quarterly and yearly prices are not shown before checkout. If your workload is AI inference rather than iOS builds, the lack of pre-installed inference stacks is the biggest practical gap.

What the pricing page doesn't say
- Most of the catalogue was out of stock or coming soon on 5 October 2026
- Quarterly and yearly prices are not shown before checkout
- No AI tooling preinstalled
What MacWeb does well
- Dedicated bare metal Macs with full root access
- Wide catalogue, Mac mini to Mac Studio up to 256 GB on paper
- No contract, monthly, quarterly or yearly billing
- Bursting to 1 or 10 Gbps networking
Where it falls short
- Only two plans orderable on 5 October 2026 (M1 16 GB and M4 Pro 24 GB)
- M4 Pro with 24 GB at $249/mo, too little memory for 32B models
- US hosting only (Silicon Valley, New York metro listed)
- No AI stacks or inference API
- VNC remote access, no browser native desktop
MacWeb in context
MacWeb lists a long catalogue, from M1 Mac minis to Mac Studio models with up to 256 GB, at prices such as $99 a month for an M4 with 16 GB and $249 for an M4 Pro with 24 GB. On 5 October 2026 only two plans could actually be ordered: an M1 with 16 GB at $100 and the M4 Pro with 24 GB at $249, both in Silicon Valley; the rest were marked out of stock or coming soon. Machines are dedicated, with root access and a choice of macOS versions, and come with no AI stack preinstalled.
Who should choose MacWeb
Choose MacWeb if you are US developers who want a bare metal Mac with root access for builds and the strengths above match your workload. Look elsewhere if the fine print, most of the catalogue was out of stock or coming soon on 5 October 2026, quarterly and yearly prices are not shown before checkout, changes the economics for you, or if you need AI inference running today rather than after a week of setup.
How Macyou compares (yes, that's us)
We built Macyou for the AI use case that generic Mac hosts leave to you: every deployment ships with Ollama or MLX pre-configured and an OpenAI-compatible API, on hardware from an M4 Mac mini (from $99/mo, or $80/mo billed annually) to a Mac Studio M3 Ultra with 256 GB. Our speed numbers are measured on the fleet and published.
- M4 Pro with 24 GB at $200/mo against their $249/mo
- M4 Pro with 48 GB at $286/mo, double the memory of their orderable M4 Pro
- Ollama, MLX and an OpenAI compatible API preinstalled
- Ready in about 5 minutes from the configurator
- Annual billing saves 15 to 39%
